The procedure's work-around for a measure the software cannot model: a primary model, a second run as though the property already had the improvement, and the calculator those two are entered into as Pre and Post against the conditioned floor area. What it produces is written onto the application and the Asset Score, so a savings figure with no reports behind it is what this catches.

Not required The procedure's modeling work-around applies only where the application includes heat pumps for space heating and cooling. This one lists none.
Standard occupancy and operating conditions give the number of occupants and the hours of operation.
Heating and cooling set points are within the standard.
68°F heating and 76°F cooling, and up to 5° either way is allowed. Set points from the Building Asset Tool or the Quick Building Asset Tool are not adjustable and are accepted as they are.

Proposal

Contractor and account name, address and contact details are confirmed.
The description of improvements matches the Asset Score and the application.
The proposal meets program requirements.
Every measure's cost is evaluated.
HVAC and water measures must each carry a per-unit cost, the number of units, and the expected model number.

Submission

The finalized application, the processing notes and any exceptions sent are uploaded to the SPECTRUM application.
SPECTRUM is updated and processing continues per the HOMES Multifamily Custom App Procedure.
The offer letter is created, and sent to the contractor once the application is pre-approved.

The applicant has not entered the EA code of the building on this application yet. They enter it on the customer portal once the income qualification of the building is approved.
